LEARN BEFORE you BURN

01

TRIM the WICK

Use a wick trimmer to cut the wick 1/4" before each burn. This will help to ensure that your candle burns evenly and the flame stays at an optimal, safe height.

02

Let it Burn

Most important on the first burn, allow the wax to melt until it reaches the edge of the jar. This will help to prevent candle tunneling, which is when the wick burns straight down the center of the candle without the wax ever reaching the edge of the jar. (Our rechargable lighters will be your candle's BFF.)

03

Watch the clock

Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. When it comes to the point where there is only 1/4" - 1/2" of wax left in the jar, it's time to stop lighting your candle. Burning a candle when there is little to no wax left is unsafe, as the jar could easily overheat.
